7th Annual RUN for your LUNGS

Jackie’s Run for Life at
Lake Blackshear Resort in Cordele GA

Sheila Knight, President and Event Director of Run for your Lungs – Jackie’s Run for Your Life is getting ready for the November 5K and 1 mile Fun Walk. She is excited to have a great list of sponsors this far and adding to it every day. Please consider being a sponsor and having your name on 750 shirts scattered throughout southwest GA. Sponsors are welcome to have a booth during the event if they would like and if they want to add anything to the goody bag they will be glad to include it. Sheila states they have digital timing & RaceJoy, a slide for kids and a beautiful route around Lake Blackshear. Each participant will receive a great long sleeve T-shirt, goody bag, BBQ lunch & beer for ages 21 & up. There will be thirty 1st place winners to receive a custom 24 oz. Tervis Tumbler. Tervis Tumblers are also available for sale. This event is so much more than just a 5K & 1 mile walk. They have a Pre-Party Friday night 11/3 at Cypress with Stephen Harrell singing acoustic; limited menu & beverages available, they have 2 separate raffles, $10 tickets each, 1 for a Henry Golden Boy Rifle and another for a YETI Hopper 20, a Silent Auction featuring a Luke Bryan autographed guitar, a Kayak set with paddles, 2 Southwest Round Trip Airline Tickets, Wild Creek Distillery Moonshine 12 bottle package and items are adding to this list every day too. Best part is they are a 501c3 non-profit, all donations are 100% tax deductible; they have zero salaries and the funds they raise go to raising awareness for lung cancer and our monthly $1000 grants to lung cancer patients in need. Please be a part of something good making a real difference in local lung cancer patients lives! Sponsors receive two participations entries for each $250 they give, so get in touch with me if you’d like to be added to our sponsor list!!
