Cow Appreciation Day 2017

We are constantly talking about the days that are out there to celebrate. Well here comes one on Tuesday. I am excited about it too. Cow Appreciation Day is Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from restaurant opening until 7 p.m. Many people ask “What is Cow Appreciation Day?” Cow Appreciation Day is Chick-fil-A’s largest, single-day customer appreciation event and celebrates the quick service chain’s iconic “Eat Mor Chikin”™ Cows. Chick-fil-A began celebrating Cow Appreciation Day in 2005 and participation has grown each year, as Chick-fil-A has expanded across the country. This year marks the 13th annual Cow Appreciation Day. You may ask if everything on the menu is included? Entrées that can be redeemed are Breakfast Entrée includes: Egg White Grill, Chick-fil-A® Chicken Biscuit, Chick-fil-A® Spicy, Chicken Biscuit, Sausage Biscuit, Chick-n-Minis™ (3 or 4-count), Chicken or Sausage Breakfast Burrito, Chicken or Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Bagel, Bacon or Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit, Greek Yogurt Parfait and Fruit Cup (any size). Lunch/Dinner Entrée includes: Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich, Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich, Chick-fil-A® Chicken Deluxe Sandwich, Chick-fil-A® Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Chick-fil-A® Spicy Chicken Deluxe Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Cool Wrap®, Chick-fil-A® Nuggets (8 or 12-count), Chick-fil-A® Grilled Nuggets (8- or 12-count), Chicken Salad Sandwich; Chick-n-Strips™ (3 or 4-count), Small hand-spun milkshake (Operator discretion), Small Iced Coffee, Small Frosted Coffee or Small Frosted Lemonade. Kid’s Meal: Chick-n-Strips (1 or 2-count) Kid’s Meal, Chick-fil-A® Nuggets (4 or 6-count) Kid’s Meal or Grilled Nugget (4 or 6-count) Kid’s Meal. You don’t have to dress in a full cow costume. Customers who arrive wearing any sort of cow apparel will receive one free entrée. However everyone would love to see those dressed in the cow costumes. In the past, a full meal was given instead of just an entrée but you had to be completely dressed in a cow costume so this year they simplified the reward. In order to make the experience more consistent for all customers, anyone wearing anything cow-like will receive one free entrée. Children wearing anything cow-like will receive a free Kid’s Meal. I have had some friends ask where they can get a cow costume. There are some great ideas on the website, CowAppreciationDay.com. And last but not least in order to simplify the experience for both customers and Chick-fil-A team members, entrée salads will no longer be available to redeem as part of Cow Appreciation Day. They hope you’ll try a different menu item, such as our Grilled Chicken Cool Wrap, instead. So everyone get your cow accessories ready and visit your nearest Chick Fil A.
